It is also for those who work within the telecoms industry and wish to further develop their knowledge and skills.

201 Principles of Communications Cabling

The purpose of this mandatory unit is for learners to develop their knowledge and understand of safe working practices including basic principles required to work in the telecommunications industry.

203 Structured cabling and enterprise networks.

This unit aims to provide the learner with the knowledge and understanding of health and safety, standards, installation procedures and testing of copper communication cables in an internal environment.
