S006 - PIA Duct Survey Only

This accreditation covers 3 modules, Module 1 training designed to develop the delegates knowledge of the Openreach Underground Infrastructure. Module 2 equips the delegates with the necessary skills to undertake a safe PIA (Physical Infrastructure Access) Duct Survey. Module 3 accreditation access the delegates knowledge by demonstrating the competency required to complete an effective PIA Duct Survey.

Description

This accreditation covers 3 modules,

  • Module 1 training designed to develop the delegates knowledge of the Openreach Underground Infrastructure.
  • Module 2 equips the delegates with the necessary skills to undertake a safe PIA (Physical Infrastructure Access) Duct Survey.
  • Module 3 accreditation access the delegates knowledge by demonstrating the competency required to complete an effective PIA Duct Survey.

Prerequisites

  • SA002 - Underground Safety or equivalent
  • NRSWA Streetworks Qualification - Unit 01

It also covers the agreed network quality standards associated with PIA (Physical Infrastructure Access) CP (Communication Provider) cable deployment. The accreditation consists of a questionnaire and practical assessment.

It also covers the agreed network quality standards associated with PIA (Physical Infrastructure Access) CP (Communication Provider) cable deployment. The accreditation consists of a questionnaire and practical assessment.
