This qualification is suitable for drones up to 2kg and is essential for safe, legal, and compliant drone operations under current UK regulations.

The Location and Avoidance of Underground Services course is also known as Unit 1 or CAT and Genny training and can be undertaken as a one-day course, as a standalone unit on a NRSWA card. Candidates will undertake practical exercises using the equipment and will be observed throughout the day by the trainer. Candidates will also be required to complete a practical assessment and multiple choice test in order to pass the course.
