Q025 - Frame and Cover Footway

Formally known as FCFW1. This module checks the Delegates understanding & ability to complete frame and cover renewal in the footway of cover no 2, 4, 6,110, 111, cover carriageway 4 & covers precinct using current working practices and quality standards.

The target audience for this accreditation is anyone working on the Openreach network including Contract Partners.

This module is essential for anyone carrying out frame and cover renewal in the footway.

Prerequisites

  • Mandatory Safety Accreditation: SA006 - Safe Working in Civils
  • Mandatory NRSWA Qualification: SWQR Unit LA, Unit O1, Unit O2, Unit O3

For laying multi-way duct exceeding 2 ways the operative will require Duct Laying 2 for which the Q021 module is a pre-requisite.
