NRSWA LA - Location and avoidance of underground apparatus
The Location and Avoidance of Underground Services course is also known as Unit 1 or CAT and Genny training and can be undertaken as a one-day course, as a standalone unit on a NRSWA card. Candidates will undertake practical exercises using the equipment and will be observed throughout the day by the trainer. Candidates will also be required to complete a practical assessment and multiple choice test in order to pass the course.

This course consists of questionnaire and practical assessments on the below modules Relevant Health and Safety legislation Understanding site plans and hazard avoidance Safe systems of work and digging practices pre-use tests, maintenance and operational techniques for equipment
