Understanding the requirements of the Safety at Street Works and Roadworks code of practice in relation to Traffic Management requirements in roadworks and utility works.

This accreditation covers 3 modules, Module 1 training designed to develop the delegates knowledge of the Openreach Underground Infrastructure. Module 2 equips the delegates with the necessary skills to undertake a safe PIA (Physical Infrastructure Access) Duct Survey. Module 3 accreditation access the delegates knowledge by demonstrating the competency required to complete an effective PIA Duct Survey.

NRSWA re-assessment course is specifically designed as an invigilated examination-only course, adhering to the requirements set by the Highway Authorities and Utilities Committee (HAUC). Once this is completed the candidates Street Works card will be renewed for a full 5 years.
