Module 2 equips the delegates with the necessary skills to undertake a safe PIA (Physical Infrastructure Access) Pole Survey. Module 3 accreditation access the delegates knowledge by demonstrating the competency required to complete an effective PIA Pole Survey.

2 Days, Thurs - Friday, 8:30 -4:00pm

The accreditation covers the engineering techniques used to deploy cable and Sub Duct up to a maximum diameter of 25mm within the Openreach underground infrastructure safely. It also covers the agreed network quality standards associated with PIA (Physical Infrastructure Access) CP (Communication Provider) cable deployment. The accreditation consists of a questionnaire and practical assessment.

5 Days Mon-Fri 08:30-04:00pm

The full 5 day NRSWA Street Works Operative course is for anyone who wants to undertake physical work under the New Roads and Street Works Act 1991. Delegates are required to demonstrate their competence in Safe methods of excavation, backfill and reinstatement of modular, flexible and composite surfaces and concrete footways and location and avoidance of underground utilities.
