SA008 - Cable Installation Over LV Power Crossings
This accreditation covers one module: Cable Installation over LV Power Crossings. Learners are provided with the knowledge and skills to install cables over low voltage power crossings. This accreditation particularly is aimed at those individuals who undertake work in a telecommunication (or similar utility) environment.
Description
The purpose of this accreditation is to provide learners with the necessary information to install telecommunications cables over a low voltage power line. This accreditation sets out the skills, knowledge and understanding to support the individual to use correct equipment and methods to carry out this task safely.
Prerequisites
Prerequisites – prior to attending this event you MUST have the following
- SA001 - Overhead Safety or equivalent
- NRSWA O1
- IPAF Certification must be produced
- Delegates MUST be able to provide a MEWP for the duration of training
