SA021 - Pole Vehicle Safety
This accreditation aims to give learners the knowledge, skills and understanding in the safety checks required on pole vehicles. It introduces learners to the hazards and potential risks involved with pole vehicles and to comply with health and safety legislation. The target audience is aimed at those working on the telecoms network including suppliers and contractors.
Description
This accreditation will provide you with a basic understanding on how to check the safety of a pole vehicle in line with relevant legislation and manufacturers specifications. The aim of this accreditation is to raise awareness of around inspecting pole vehicles. Successful completion of this accreditation will allow learners to show they have sufficient knowledge, understanding and skills on carrying out inspection checks on pole vehicles.
Prerequisites
This course is available to anyone over the age of 21. There are no formal entry requirements for this qualification. Centres must ensure potential learners suitability for this course and identify any specific needs/reasonable adjustments that may be required.
