SA024 - Pole Top Rescue

This accreditation is to provide learners with the necessary information to rescue individuals who become suspended on the pole for whatever reason while working on the pole at height. The purpose of this accreditation is to provide learners with the necessary information to undertake the rescue operation by climbing the pole. NB - this does NOT allow the learner to forward deliver this course.

Description

This accreditation provides learners with the skills and knowledge of the hazards and potential risks when undertaking a rescue operation by climbing a pole.  It also helps learners awareness of compliance with health and safety legislation. This accreditation tests learners knowledge, skills and understanding of pole top rescue. This accreditation ensures that learners involved in accessing a pole are suitably trained and accredited to the National Operational Standard (NOS).
